For the next stop on the tour, continue up First Street and turn left onto Arnet Street to reach the Tofino Community Hall. Here you will find our next two featured artworks. Outside, the mural by Tuff City Art Underground youth collective. Inside, Daniela Petosa’s mixed media sculpture, First Light.

Within the Common Loaf Bakery you will discover another incredible example of artist Henry Nolla’s adze work.

In addition to Nolla’s work already seen in his collaboration on Tofino’s Welcome Sign with Roy Henry Vickers and at Henry Vickers Gallery, more of his craftsmanship will be featured on the MUP portion of the art walk.

This will include work done on the Wickaninnsh Inn. Next door to the inn, you can also visit Henry Nolla’s Carving Shed, now hosted by carvers “Feather George” Yearlsley and Christen Dokk Smith.
